Ainura Djumasheva
Ms. A. Djumasheva is a PhD student at the Monash University, Australia. She is from Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz Republic) and currently working on her PhD project concerning higher education policy in post- Soviet Kyrgyzstan in context of globalization and neoliberal politics.

Ms. Djumasheva graduated from the University of Oslo, Norway, with Master of Philosophy degree in International and Comparative Education. Previously, she earned her first master’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from the Kyrgyz State University, Kyrgyzstan.

In addition to academics, Ms. Djumasheva has extensive work experience in planning, administration, and evaluation of various educational programs and projects in international organizations. As an Executive Director of Junior Achievement-Kyrgyzstan Foundation she has implemented USAID (United States Agency for International Development) educational programs on economics for high school students in Kyrgyzstan. During eight-year employment with ACCELS/ACIE – American Councils for International Education she has administered US State Department exchange programs for Kyrgyztani students, teachers and school directors. Besides, Ms. Djumasheva has worked as an administrator at the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for UNESCO supervising the UNESCO projects for educators and journalists in Kyrgyzstan.
